The Collective Rules
Welcome to The Collective, the first lifestyle platform that enables our members to be rewarded for doing the things they already do. To ensure all users and members can enjoy the benefits of The Collective under equal terms, The Collective Platform, Application, Website and Member Program may be used and accessed for lawful and approved purposes only.
Below are our Rules you must following when using The Collective Platform, Application, Website and Membership Program. These Rules are in addition to The Collective Terms of Service. You agree not to, and to not encourage or conspire with anyone else to, engage in any conduct that is inconsistent with the purposes, intent and spirit of the following Rules, or otherwise “game the system”. The Collective shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether you have engaged in prohibited conduct and The Collective’s determination shall be final.
(i) To abide by all applicable local, state, national and foreign laws and regulations in connection with your use of The Collective Platform, Website, Application, and Membership Program
(ii) You will not inaccurately represent the value of a referral or promo code award to any individual; or encourage or instruct any other individual to do any of the foregoing.
(iii) You will not submit false, inaccurate, fabricated, counterfeit, tampered with or otherwise artificial and unauthentic purchase information for the purpose of gathering cashback or other awards.
(iv) That you will have just one The Collective account. If you use more than one device, you may only collect TC Rewards on one device at a time.
(v) You will not share your device(s) with other The Collective users.
(vi) You will not attempt to redeem TC Rewards that were earned through any false or misleading fashion (for example by uploading receipts that have already been used by another TC user/member or any other scheme to earn TC Rewards for actions you did not take).
(vii) Regarding TC Rewards for walk-ins, you must walk into the store during open store hours with the The Collective app opened, and must follow the limits or restrictions mentioned in the app.
(viii) Regarding TC Rewards for purchases with linked cards: You may only associate a Credit (or debit) Card with your Account if you are a registered user of the Platform, Website, Application, or Membership Program whose identity has been verified, verified phone number, and address associated with your Account. You must use the linked Card to make qualifying purchases and you must abide by any other rules, restrictions or limitations listed on the platform, website, application or in The Collective’s Terms of Service.
(ix) Regarding TC Rewards for eCommerce purchases: TC Rewards will only be issued for bona-fide completed transactions. The merchant determines whether you met the conditions in its offer; The Collective does not control the merchant and is bound by their decision. If you disagree with the decision, you may dispute that issue directly with the merchant. If the applicable merchant or we determine that you tried to earn TC Rewards using any fraudulent or deceptive means, we reserve the right to cancel any and all of your TC Rewards. You agree that neither The Collective nor the applicable merchant is responsible for typographical mistakes in the offers and we reserve the right to correct the error and the merchant may refund all amounts paid and we may cancel all TC Rewards associated with such transactions.
(x) Regarding TC Rewards for scanning products, you must scan the actual featured products while in one of the stores listed in the The Collective Platform, Website, Application, and Membership Program related to the respective product scan; you must only scan items that are featured for that store in the Application; and you must follow any limits or restrictions mentioned in the app. You must scan one product at a time and wait some period of time between scans for each to be accepted and rewarded.
(xi) Regarding TC Rewards for submitting receipts, all receipts and invoices must be itemized and clearly legible and must not upload receipts that reflect purchases made more than ten (10) days prior to the date the receipt is submitted. You must not obscure the date or any other information printed on the receipt or upload a receipt without any date or clearly legible date. Individual products and items must be clearly legible and all pricing and discount information must be included. If you are not eligible or no longer eligible for any receipt TC Rewards, you will be unable to earn TC Rewards on submitted receipts.
(xii) Regarding TC Rewards for watching videos, you will only receive TC Rewards for watching videos that include an overlay specifying the number of TC Rewards to be awarded for watching that video. You must tap on the video and watch the video to completion to receive the TC Rewards indicated. Watching other videos will not result in the awarding of TC Rewards.
(xii) You may not purchase, combine or transfer TC Rewards with other members or any other person, and any attempt to do so may result in disqualification from The Collective Platform, Website, Application, and Membership Program and forfeiture of all TC Rewards in your account.
This list is not exclusive. The Collective prohibits members or any other person from engaging in any activity that The Collective, in its sole discretion, determines is offensive, interferes with the rights of others, or causes harm to any person, including to The Collective and its employees. Violation of, or acting inconsistently with, the letter or spirit of our rules may result in appropriate consequences and at our sole discretion, suspension, cancellation or termination of the accounts of the offending user, and such violation may result in the forfeiture of any and all kicks that the User has earned. The preceding sentence shall not in any way limit any other remedy, legal, equitable or otherwise, that The Collective may pursue.
The Collective reserves the right to change these Rules from time to time and the changes take effect when we post them on the Website or in the Application.
