The Collective believes that Enterprises must support and evolve society for the greater good. This means that all Corporations and Organizations must ultimatly be held accountable to the society that has allowed them to flourish.
To build on this idea The Collective is implementing a new method of engaging supporting users, Members, and communities by establishing a representative government for People who wish to actively participate in, engage with, and direct efforts of The Collective.
Voting & Polling
Only Verified Members are eligible to vote. Once you have become a verified Member of The Collective you will be granted access to our Polling and Voting system that allows you to directly participate in our development process as well as help direct our overall strategy and actions taken to grow The Collective.
Verified Members are able to elect community representatives that can unlock perks and benefits for their entire community in the form of grants, culture and entertainment events, and much more.
Modeled off the representative Republic of the United States every county within the United States can is able to elect a representative for their community once 10% of the population of that county has been registered and verified as Members of The Collective.
County Representatives serve for a term of 12 Months. Members can only vote for a representative running for that county’s seat. The representative must have lived in that county for 2 years before being eligible to run. If the representative moves during their term outside of the county their seat is vacated. If the representative is found to not be living at their residence on record in that county their seat is vacated.
The point of County representative is to deliver local solutions to problems that communities face. Representatives must represent the communities they live in.
Benefits Of Representation
Counties that are participants and Members of The Collective and have elected a representative to serve their interests at The Collective are able to take part in unique programs that are designed exclusivly to promote and grow their local communities with funding and resources as well as community entertainment.
Representatives are to communicate the needs of the County to The Collective so that The Collective is able to organize, mobilize, and deploy solutions into the local community as resources and opportunities present themselves.
The Collective is donating 10% of its revenue each year to our TC Cares organization that is used to distribute funds and resources to the local communities and non-profits.
Additionally The Collective will distribute as many grants and other funding mechanisms into local communities in need for projects that The Collective believes will promote the greatest civic benefit.
These funds will be directly managed by a TC Community Liason which reports directly back to the TC Council.
The Collective Council
The Collective Council is the oversight committe selected by The Collective to oversee Community and TC Cares Partnerships and Operations.
The Collective Council makes sure to maintain accountability to both the community and to The Collective by monitoring projects and funds. No funds are ever directly released to the Community, it’s government, or non-validated community business partners. This is to avoid corruption at the local political level, eliminate a representative’s ability to direct funds to favorable organizations, and to make sure that all funds and resources allocated by The Collective are utilized for the good of the community.
The Collective Council is made up of The Collective Employees. The Collective Council elects a Council President to oversee and run all Council Meetings and Operations. There is no title, experience, or other prerequisites to be seated on The Collective Council outside being a direct employee of The Collective.
There are 12 seats on The Collective Council and this includes the Council President. 6 of the seats are chosen via a company wide vote and the remaining 6 seats are chosen by the Founder of The Collective.
The Collective Council is ruled by a code of conduct and other operating procedures which will be made available to The Collective Members in the next few months.
The Collective Council votes on its actions to be taken and in the event of split vote (6/6) the Founder of The Collective will serve as the Tie Breaker.
